tube in cold weather

Post by dreamcatcher »

Hi
I have a LS3020 and this is our first experience of having it in very cold weather. We have it outside in a shed and I'm worried about the water freezing in the tube. Is it ok to put anti freeze in the water or is that a bad idea?

Any advice very welcome. Thanks in advance. :)

HPC sell anti freeze that is suitable.

Keeping the pump running will also help as the pump will heat the water a bit.

Thank you Dave. It's good to have an expert around. We'll order from HPC in the morning. In the meantime will keep the pump running.
Thank you :)

Mine's in a shed and the hpc anti-freeze worked a treat in the tub, I had previously lost a tube to freezing water. Since upgraded to one of the files and I put a bit of anti freeze in the water in that and I've had no issues and have been running it like that for a few months now.
