Hi all,
my employer has just invested in a laser machine and i have to program all the drawings, it has seemed quite straight forward to date but i wanted to make myself a small protractor to read angles on my plans with my name engraved but i am finding when i try to engrave the lines going round in the arc it says "engraved poly must be closed" what can i do because i cant really join then as i need the spaces, I also want to make a ruler. What way can i engrave them? shall i cut them but put the power up so it doesn't cut through!
Cheers
Ali

Re: Help creating lines on a protractor
Hallo,
What machine?
I would assume one with LaserCut5.3, and the easiest way to do this is to use the cut function, but with low power (say 5-10%) and high feed (say 50mm/s).
