Cutting depth
Cutting depth
I'm still hovering in these forums and have got another query. I need to cut some odd shape stickers after laser printing them
Is it possible to get the laser to cut only the top sticky part of the sheet leaving the backing intact? I'm guessing it's to do with the strength that you set the cut to? Advice welcome...

Re: Cutting depth
You can cut labels with a laser, i havent tried on the laser cutter but, i have a laser cutter built into one of our label printing machines to cut labels as a test when i cant be bothered making a die to cut them quickly
Just start with a very low power and increase a bit at a time, check what the label stock sheet is made from as you dont want to be cutting things like PVC with a laser , it will be hard holding the sheet flat enough to cut just the label all over the sheet
