dxf files

hi ya does anybody have problems receiving emailed dxf files i keep getting huge scale differences and also parts of the file mixed up
i have tried different conversions programs i was wondering if there is a better way of emailling the files or using a different type of file
and also my laserscript 5.1 soft ware module has a problem and says it needs to close help

Hi Mark,

DXF files have a habit of changing scale when converted from other programs - unless the originator AND the recipient have settings fixed at 1:1 scale.

The problem can usually be alleviated or overcome by scaling the image to suit on whatever software you are using to send the files to the machine - just make sure that you change both Height and Width by the same proportional factor.
