Laser Tube

Post by smilerpete »

Hi
Another problem has occurred, I have been cutting 3 mm plywood and suddenly it will not cut through even on full power and low speed.
When I aligned the mirrors and tested the tube to see if it was firing central and leaving a hole, it now is firing and leaving 4 holes in a circle, I have cleaned each mirror and the one in the end of the tube but still no joy.
Could this be a blown tube, I have had the tube 2 years.
Thank you
Pete

At what point - on material on the bed or between mirrors? What pattern do you get on the entry hole in the head?

Best

Hi Dave
Thanks for your reply.
The pattern I get is like a 3mm circle with around 4 dots cut out.
The pattern I get at the end of the tube is like a C shape.
