Juddering laser head leaving dots!!HELP!!!

Post by craftybubble »

Hi!

i just had my laser serviced last month and had a brand new tube! it was working like NEW! but this week i have had quite a few problems with the laser sounding like its 'spitting' and judders leaving jagged lines and practically just dotting the under surface like the laser power is being cut off and not cutting straight through.i have just tried acrylic and its having the same problem so i know its not a problem with the material.
I am in the middle of my busiest time of year and desperately need some advice on this ans to what it could be as i am throwing away a lot of wood right now! :(

HELP!!

Call HPC - sounds like a dodgy connection on the tube.

Please note I am not employed by HPC, any advice or recomendations I give are based on my own experience and are not necessarily the same as HPC's. First point of contact on any hardware issues should be with HPC
