Laser bed isn't level?

Hiya ive noticed that my laserbed isnt level - its about 2mm lower at the front than it is at the back and as a result the laser becomes lass focused when it cuts towards the front of the machine. is it easy to adjust it?

I would just shim it up where required. I drilled and tapped levelling bolts in my ls1290s to get it level. While my original ls3020 was just some stickers piled on top for the honeycomb bed!

Unless you fancy getting underneath, stripping down the table, height adjusters, removing belts, adjusting every corner, then putting it all back together again, I wouldn't. I have done it on my LS6840, and to be honest, it was not worth the nightmare. It was much easier to drill and tap the bigger one

The 6840 bed can be levelled fairly easily. Check for the inaccuracy you need to adjust. Disconnect power. Open front centre door to belt drive. The bed drive screws are connected to the drive chain by Hex screws. These need to be undone and the screw adjusted. The screw is greased so wear plastic gloves. retighten screws and check.

Just followed the advice of "keithwright" and the job took about fifteen minutes. Probably quicker that making (and losing) shims or drilling/tapping the corners to add screws.
Only time will tell if it'll creep out of alignment over time.

From memory the screws have flats on them for the grub screws, clamping off of the flat will work loose quite quickly

I'll keep my eye on that. I didn't notice any screws not screwing in as far, but time will tell.

I've noticed a similar problem with my LS3060, would the following solution work on this model?
