3020 Intermittent cutting

Hi,
I replaced the tube and power supply approx 18 months ago and it has done approx 20 hours work since. Lately, when cutting, I find that it will often lose power and not fully cut through a part of the design. Today it was cutting out a single 50mm design and part of it was fine and part wasn't.
The bed is level and checked for the correct height.
Surely the tube and / or power supply don't need replacing again yet???
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Regards
Chris

Hi Chris.
If the tube is overheating it can stop cutting until it cools down - can you explain a bit more when it stops and if it starts again?
Best

Hi Dave,
Thanks very much for your reply, really appreciated.
I wanted to do a couple of test pieces before I replied.
It seems that it is the opposite, it is the first couple of designs which don't cut properly and then it's ok. It's as if it needs to warm up first.
Regards
Chris

Check the connections to the tube to make sure there is no arching.

Depending on how the tube has been used and looked after it may only last a short time if you are unlucky.
