Mac USB connection issue

Hi All,
So l managed to install LaserCut 6.1 on my Mac using PlayonMac. worked a charm and no problems with installation at all. However, when plugging in usb and opening LaserCut, there is communication error and the laser machine isnt reconisged. The USB drivers are installed so a bit stumped as to where to go from here. I have a LS3050.
