We've started having communication problems Laser cutter to PC.

I get the following error very often (almost every time)
"The communication is broken for timeout.
Please close and open the output window to retry"

The only way to get it going again it to reboot the Laser cutter, and sometimes I have to restart the software as well.

I have replace the USB cable.

PC is running windows 10, and has been for some time.

Any ideas what the problem might be, what I should test next?

I get this once in a while - no idea why to be honest but do know that they don't like very long USB leads!

Most of the time unplugging the USB lead works but occasionally switching on and off is all that sorts it!?
