Wife wanted a stamp for our packaging so I bought a sheet of laserable rubber and gave it a go.
Messy business so wont be doing it often, so much fine rubber dust coating everything!!
Ordered some Tsukineko Versafine ink today, to do the above I blew all the ink out of a magenta printer cartridge and put kitchen roll in as padding.
Bit of a bodge but very pleased with the result.

Re: First Attempt at Rubber Engraving
That is really cool.
I have experimented with stamps and find the Grade engrave option works really well... I also hate the dust and the smell though, so do not do it very often... My first attempt I found that I had to engrave a few times to get the correct depth.. but the results are usually really good. We bought a single A4 sheet of laserable rubber from Hobarts last Feb, and still have most of it left... lol
