Help!

Post by ednotdave »

I can't seem to get my machine to take notice of the "immediate" option using Lasercut - it keeps going back to the datum!
Also, when I download the current file, it shows as laser.mol, not the file name I saved!
Any ideas, please?

Filenames must be in 8.3 format, so maximum of 8 characters.

Sorted - Filenames mustn't have spaces (mine did), but can be more than 8 characters. Somehow, I accidentally set logic org on the machine, which makes it start from the same spot. Thanks for your help.

When you press the enter button on the control pad twice this will bring up the logic org (local origin)
Press enter again and you've set it. You can cancel it on the same screen
TBH i use this quite a lot when doing repeat work as you can move the laser head and remove the work
When you press start the laser head will return to the set position and start
