I did mine by unscrewing the bed from the two cross bars (four bolts if I remember correctly) and shimmed it - I think I asked Chris about it at the time as well ;)

Obvious comment but make sure you level to the laser head in each corner

So this is what I've managed, thought I'd add the process on here for reference.
There are 2 hex screws in a brass collar at the bottom of each of the 4 big screw rods that raise and lower the bed.
These all need loosening. You'll need a 2.5mm allen key.
Then if you twist the screw rod it is no longer linked to the toothed belt so each rod will raise/lower the bed in that corner.
Make all the adjustments and check the 4 corners.
When all corners are right re-tighten the allen screws.
I suggest a conventional allen key where space is limited, otherwise use a allen key head mounted on a hex socket screwdriver or tommy-bar holder for greater leverage.

Can not help you BenH as I have only experience of a 6840. But looking can't hurt.
