Hello Dave,

Thank you for replying so fast. I'm slightly confused, I have a USB dongle that came with the Laser cutter, but how do I go about installing the disc I got? There is no exe file on it and Newly draw keeps giving me a logic port error when trying to command the laser cutter.

Thanks,

Jordan

Try right button click on the inf file and select install.

The dongle has to be plugged in all the time. Is this a new machine from HPC?

Best

Thank you Dave I shall try that when I'm with it next.

Yes it is relatively new and came from HPC.

Hello again,

Further to my last post, I have tried right clicking the inf file and installing that way, however I get the message "the INF file you selected does not support this method of installation"

Do you have any idea how I can get past this?

Thanks,

Not having a 3020 anymore I can't say for sure but you could try going to control panel, device manager - turn the machine on and watch the device list for activity (possibly expand the USB tree) and then see what device is highlighted and select properties, select drivers tab, update drivers then browse for the drivers and select/ok.

Cheers
