Try 85% power 14 speed.
8mm p/s is way too slow to be cutting 3mm acrylic to be honest.

I found that the best settings for me for 3mm clear acrylic on the 3020 was speed 6, power 5mA
This is mainly to prevent any damage to the acrylic around the edges as clear shows the scotch marks

I have to agree with that, I can cut 3mm acrylic all day long at S 15 P 85, no problems at all.....Spooky wrote:Try 85% power 14 speed.
