The dreaded bubbles. (Sorted)

Problem solved......I decided to start again with fresh de-ionised water without the Milton, I flushed through
the system with the existing water adding a squirt or Fairy liquid....all the bubbles vanished, the tube is so clear it looks like it has no water at all.

I checked with HPC regarding the Fairy and said it would not harm the laser.

Thats good news - have wondered about using a detergent to flush, bubbles are attracted to dust and impurities. Used to use a 'wetting agent' when developing film years ago to avoid the same sort of problem.

When I cleaned the last tube out to remove all the built up green crud I ran it through with Cillit Bang for about 12 hours, until it was all gone, then spent yonks rinsing it totally clean. Took quite a while to remove all the cillit bang, got rid of the white/yellow mushrooms out of it though!

I never ran the laser at all during this time mind! And would not recommend using anything that has the slightest chance of degrading any seals or pipes. This was a last resort, and I got an extra few months out of the tube!
