laser cutting twice

Post by woodturningbypaul »

Hi All

just noticed tonight the laser is cutting twice round each item, i have looked at the forum and it was surgested that it was the import, so i produced a square in lasercut 5.3 only which cut twice. Dont think i have changed anything. What would cause this.

thanks

Another thing I just thought of - last column on the cut/engrave speed/power settings there is 'Times' - any chance this has been set to 2?

If you draw a single line does it do that twice too?

sorted !!

I have rechecked all the setting, the first piece I cut tonight I set the power and the speed and i guess tabbed onto the overlap which was set to 72, which i had not noticed. I reset that back to .1.

thanks for all your help dave much appreciated.
