Getting a failure on the Y axis occasionally.
Machine can run the same program multiple times then all of a sudden it runs straight along the X axis with no Y axis movement still running the program.
laser works fine, i just get a single line cut or engraved along the top of the bed.
Usually a power of and on sorts it but not always.
Then all of a sudden its working perfectly again.
Anything i can look out for?

Re: Y axis intermittent failure 6040
Sounds like a loose wire - did you get it sorted?

Re: Y axis intermittent failure 6040
my 3040 has done this from new. no loose wire just a failure in the softare. makes it really difficult to do complex designs without the fear of wasting material
