Good afternoon from Portsmouth.

Post by Darren71 »

Hi everyone, I've been having an issue recently when cutting. The laser seems to have different start and finish points, even on simple cuts. It'll cut round the shape but then continue cutting round for approx 50mm. Any ideas how to resolve please?

Check the overlap option (double click on the layer where you set the speed and power) - default is 0.05000 - it may have been set to 50.

Hi Dave, thanks for that. I've checked and can see where I've gone wrong. I accidentally changed the overlap when changing the power. That's too many late nights in the mancave lol
