Hello,

I just had a Major Fail on my 1290. The Lid dropped and it's smashed the glass.

Just a little upset as I replaced both the Gas rams last year.

Anyone tell me what type of glass it is, is it anything special or just glass that goes into a thousand bits when it breaks.

Give Manila a try, Soft Card is a bit hit and miss when you Cut it and gives off a lot of Soot. Manila is a harder type of Finish and Cuts really well.

You'll get some good results using it.

Try Transfer Tape, Clear or Paper backed. Make sure you don't have any Bubbles in it, needs to be applied Flat.

Etch and Cut your Image and fill in with what ever you are using, let it dry and Peel it off.

You can buy it on a roll off of ebay. Various Sizes.

Hello, Is there anyone who has tried to Laser Etch Antler. I have seen that it can be done, but is it safe to do this and is the Filter System on the 1290 enough to take away the waste or would you need a better system.

Hello Cam, If I can pass on some friendly advice, let HPC do it for you, if you get it wrong its a very expensive mistake. It's worth every penny letting them do it. They can sort it in less time, set it up and have you up and running in no time. It's going to cost you more, but if you ask me, money...
