Laser MASK

Post by Flash »

Hi there
I've just bought some Laser MASK from HPC and was wondering if any of you had any experience with it?

Any useful tips like amount to put on, best thing to apply with, best way to get off etc would be great,
thought i'd wait for a few tips before I plunged in ......

Cheers

No idea! Saw it on the website yesterday whilst ordering laminates.

Personally, I use silicon maintenance spray. Wipes off no bother!

Hi, just seen your post.

Lasermask is water soluble. I found it best to spread it thinly with a piece of cereal packet cut with a sharp knife so it had a good straight clean edge. Do your laser engraving and cutting and then wash off with warm water. Seems expensive but will probably do at least thenequivalentnof 200 A4 sheets.

We have used it applied by roller onto treated wood engraved through it then spray painted before washing off, gives a great effect, also good on laserable laminate, all the smoke sticks to it !
