laser plywood

hi all

quick question is there any way to tell laser plywood from normal plywood visually. I have just got a new batch of ply and some of it will not cut at normal setting 70% but will cut if I run at 100% power and now wondering if the wood yard has mixed the plywood as i cant see anything wrong with the machine.
