I Have a second hand 3020 which has been working well, but now it seems to have lost most of its power, it will just about put a mark on ply but certainly not cut, if I increase the power it stops engraving altogether. The mirrors are clean, alignment is OK, is this a sign that the tube is gone.
It lights up, but takes 3 or 4 seconds to burn a hole in a piece of paper taped over head. Any advice would be much appreciated.
Advice please
Re: Advice please
Sounds like it - if the test is the same between the tube and the 1st mirror

Re: Advice please
also check all the wire connections are good and tight
I just lost a lot of power as the HT (red) lead had a bad connection.
it's now crimped up tight and all good again
Make sure the Power has been off for a while before you check !!!!!!
