Hi.
my current supplier has downgraded their material to BB grade (which is far from acceptable for my products).

I am (desperately) looking for a new supplier of 6mm laser grade birch plywood, preferably supplied in 600 X 300 cut sheets... I need a high quality material that is mainly free from plugs on both sides (I can live with the odd plug on a single side, but not on every sheet)

Any recommendations? I am more than happy to purchase in bulk... a storage problem for cost effective material is a problem I am happy to address...

I have considered HPC laser ply, but they are relatively expensive and I do not know what the quality is like... (Cost is important, as my margins are already a little thin, and an increase in material cost would require a fundamental review of my pricing structure)

I use SLEC Ltd as I have a storage issue but you could try http://www.hanson-plywood.co.uk for bulk - they sent me samples recently and appear to be very good Finnish birch ply.

thanks for the information on Slec... I have some great material and its about 30% cheaper than my last supplier...

Couldn't agree more with Slec. Used them for years and never had any issues
