Hi
I have been having fun with our HPC3020. Recently it started running the jobs twice. I haven't changed any settings (not on purpose anyway). The box showing power and cut speeds etc in Lasercut 5.3 shows its running only once. Is there another setting anywhere please.
Also a couple of times the laser has been happily engraving away and suddenly it jolts against the left side and throws the whole engraving out of alignment. Any ideas why this may happen.
Thank you very much for any suggestions.
Pam

Can you check there is only one layer - what do you use to create the file?

Re: HP 3020 Lasercut 5.3 engraving and cutting twice
Hi Dave
Thanks for answering I use Corel draw usually but it's the home and student version so I import into Lasercut as a plt file. It's been ok until last week when it started cutting and engraving twice.
I tried just drawing a simple box in lasercut and its still cutting it twice. I'm puzzled.
Thanks
Pam

If it does it from drawing in LC then I may be an option on the menu panel - what is Number of copies set to? (not sure if it is that as I don't use it).

Hi Dave
On Lasercut 5.3 it says cut and engrave once. I winder if there is a setting on the laser itself that I might have accidentally changed. I can't find it though.
Thanks

That's what I meant, sorry. Look on the panel on the laser - there is an option that says something like 'Pieces....'

Thanks Dave good idea. I'll check it out tomorrow when I get home from work. I don't remember seeing anything on the laser but I'll certainly have a look. Odd that it's just started doing it. It was fine to start with.
