I have checked the past comments about this issue and gone through the checklists and all seems well with the hardware. The laser head moves along the correct path but the laser does not fire. I have tried files created in 2D Techsoft and written directly into Laserscript but get the same result. BUT when I run old files, ie anything created before today it all works correctly!!!
Any ideas?

Re: Laser not firing
What machine and software?
If Lasercut make sure the output box is ticked.
Best

Re: Laser not firing
Got in touch with Simon (I think) who said it was probably the scan gap. He said to change it to the same as the power and this seemed to do the trick. But, puzzlingly the old files that continued to work showed a scan gap of 5!!!! In any event it is working now. LS6840 Lasercut 5.3
