Can anyone throw any light on a problem that has recently started to occur on my LS3020 please: I regularly get an error message that the connection is broken due to time-out. This involves switching off the machine and waiting for it to reset. This can happen if it has been idle for 5 minutes and other times not happen all morning then after maybe a half hour break.
Restating Laserscript doesn't resolve the issue - only closing and opening the laser.
Any suggestions would be most appreciated, Rick

USB port has power saving on or USB cable a bit dodgy I would guess

Hi! Thanks for that - I think it is a dodgy USB port - cheers!

Re: Communication broken due to timeout
I get this problem if I turn my computer on before the laser machine is turned on. if I make sure the laser cutter is on first... I don't get the problem. if the laser cutter is switched off and then back on and the computer is just left on throughout, it also needs restarting.
