Evening all,
Just a small selection of some K3 & K4 elctronics casing I had to knock up for variouse projects.
The black perspex one on the right was ok, but issues of the changing section of the cast sheet material meant that somtimes the friction fit tab system wasn't consistent and the students eithier ended up splitting them or having to glue them.
The MDF version of the casing is a simple 50/50 slot and captive top and base construction which worked well every time.
Below, a quick casing for a simple battery testing circuit. Also pictured is the laser cut MDF Vac Form for the LED lens.
Below a MP3 Stereo and Mono Amp Casing, designed to fit with generic Rapid & kitronic Amp kits.
The Stereo Amp casing I originaly drew up to use in 3mm laser ply with a 1.2mm birch ply flexible strip, thoug it works just as well in perspex with a strip of HIPS.
I'll dig out the photo's of the Y7 LED laser cut torch at some point, this is complimented by a blister pack that is vac'd over a laser cut/engraved former.
