Thermark

Hi Pick my my machine up on friday (LS3020) and it works great up and running within 3 hrs of collecting thanks to Chris for the good demo.
Now a question has any body got any tips for Thermark on metal as it is the one thing I cannot seem to get to work just keeps washing off.
Im putting it on Nickle plated items so any help please
