Low Chalk Paper supplier

Post by podbox »

Hi there,

I've read that paper/card with a low chalk content is the best for reducing the brown smudge. However ive looked and asked about and cant find a supplier?

More air also helps and i've got that covered (upto 100psi if needed thanks to a deal with the car garage next door) and it does help but im seeking perfection for some wedding invites.

Anyone had any better luck than me?

Cheers

ive cut both card and paper and find that if you cut at the fastest speeds and the lowest power settings that piece of card or paper requires you get very good results.

My wife gets me cutting out shapes and lettering for her card crafting.

I think the problem relates to the manufacturers not specifying the chalk content of their product. The only thing I have been able to do is locate the good stuff and discard the bad stuff by a process of 'trial and error'.
