Mirrors

Post by Mr Bea »

Hi One and All
Just gone to give my mirrors a clean and I noticed that where the laser hits the mirror I am getting what looks like an oil slick on top of water type colour fanning out in a sort of circular shape. Has anyone else seen this and do I need to start to panic about something.

Many Thanks

Could be two things Tony. either localised heating of the mirror (if the machine is over say 2 years old) or burnt on rubbish from the air, Try distilled water to clean the mirror and dry with a cotton bud.

best wishes

Dave

Thanks Dave. I cleaned them and it did come off and I have been cutting MDF of late so it could explain it. Also the machine is nearly two years old so it could be the heat on the mirrors. At least I don't have too panic just yet.

Thanks
