Engrave one at at a time

Post by qashifmasud »

Hey All,

Just wanted to see if there was a setting in lasers cut whereby when l engrave it does one part at a time rather then go back and forth in one straight line. As it's taking way longer when l engrave when one small part is on one side of the wood but it has to travel all the way across to engrave then back again. I just want it to complete one part at a time then move on to the next.

Hope all that makes sense.

Regards
Qash.

The only way is to put each section on to it's own layer - if currently it is one big image you would need split the image down and then put on own layer, easier on DXF files.

It can actually speed up the engraving quite a bit ;)
