Hello
I am a LaserScript newbie - I bought the LS3040 60w in March and have been experimenting LOTS since then.
I was wondering if anyone knew the best way to get designs to centre on a material? For example if I wanted to engrave a design on the lid of a wooden box, how can I ensure the design is bang in the middle?
Thanks!

Re: Easily Centre Designs
HI - I tend to draw a box the same size as the item being engraved but set it to zero power. Centre the plan in the middle of the box and then download but with the lid open use test and then start to line the item up. Use a jig if it is multiple items. Use offcuts to place over the item and run a test to check alignment (make sure it will not cut through and damage the item).
