LS6840 Limit stop

Post by davehills »

Hi

Have a couple of LS6840's and having an issue with one of them. Some very simple designs will "TEST" OK, but when cutting we're sometimes getting a "LIMIT STOP" when the head reaches the back edge of the bed. This seems to be related to certain designs only and only occurs on the one machine.

Any thoughts?

(It's entirely possible that machine and/or software settings have been fiddled with - will double check these in a minute)

Thanks all.

Possibly software setting - are the machines the same age? I had this on a newer 3060 when I used the wrong config file from the older software disk.

Cheers
