Hello From London (and a bit of help)

Post by OMT »

Hello everyone, hope you're all safe and well :)

Got a question about engraving.

I'd like to engrave some text on acrylic. I'm using Autocad 2007 for the text and saving it as a dxf but when I import into Laserscript 6.1 all I'm getting is the text outline.

I've tried both hatching and polyline line width but neither seem to be working.

Thanks in advance

If you set the object to engrave it should engrave as long is it is a single PLine - so 1st line turns on engrave next one in turns off and repeat.

If you are using normal annotate text I think you can Pexplode - it needs to be a joined polyline.
