Cutting mirrored acrylic

Post by Littleacorns123 »

Hi
I’ve been cutting some mirrored acrylic on my Ls3040 60w and I keep getting what I describe as burn marks on the reflective part. Power is 97 speed is 8. I’ve cut it successfully on these settings - do you think this suggests it needs aligning?
Thanks!

Should add that it’s cutting fine on other materials.

Mirror can be tricky - cut on the back if possible and more speed less power - I would expect speed around 22 at 65 power.

We cut mirror from the back, sometimes using multiple fast passes to reduce marking
