Mirror Alignment 3040

Hi I’m still getting a little confused on which way to adjusted the thumbscrews on the back of the mirrors and what screw mover the mirror left / right / up /down , have anyone got a diagram / drawing that I can print out please

There are various videos on Youtube that may help.

As a rough guide, screwing in the bolt moves the beam away from the screw - so say the screw was bottom left, 7 o'clock it would move the beam towards 2 o'clock. Turn the screw in small amounts - I imagine it as a clock face so turn the screw say 10 seconds clockwise - if that is wrong I can turn it back 10 seconds and start again :)
