Newlydraw alternative?

Post by Nige321 »

Hi

I've just acquired an HPC 3020 laser, complete with an ancient XP laptop loaded with Newlydraw.

Simple question, is there any more modern alternative to Newlydraw?

Has anyone updated an HPC machine to be able to use Lightburn??

Thanks in advance...

There are solutions (mainly USA) but it means ripping out some of the electronics AFAIK as the controller is matched to the software.

Search the internet for K40 upgrades - the K40 is a cheaper version of the 3020.

I do not know anyone who has done it and to be honest I can't see the point as ND works just fine once you get used to it and for the 3020 ;)
