Re: Air Compressor, Solenoid, etc
As said I don't bother and just turn the valve open before hitting start and turn of after. You can adjust the duty cycle on the compressor to give a slightly longer time between cycles as you are aiming for air flow rather than pressure. I use an inline valve near the laser to help control the flow...

Re: Strange tracing problem with Inkscape?
I don't use Inkscape a lot - you could make sure it is not a layer issue so merge all down if that is an option (I seem to remember having similar issue but not on trace).

Re: Anti freeze
It can be useful if the lasers are in an environment that is likely to freeze - mine are in a relatively low risk building and if I think it is going to be a higher risk I leave the pumps going. The concentration would depend on the temp to protect to - so say -10 would be 22% v/v so 35 ltr would be...

Re: Upgrade of Compressor
Hi Mark, I have two Titans - nice kit. I ordered the push fit adaptors to use the existing nylon tube and it works fine - as it is open ended the tube is not under a great deal of pressure - it is more about air flow. I actually turn the air flow down for some jobs so it is more of a trickle to keep...
