Re: engraving quility not consistent

Hi Dave
I am about to move my machine so I may come across the same problem. If you could post the mirror alignment instructions it may help me in the near future.

Many Thanks

Rubber Stamps

Hi All
I have been asked if we can laser cut rubber stamps. I can remember Simon telling me that HPC had played around with them but had taken it no further. Does anyone know anything about rubber stamps such as the material used etc.

Many Thanks

Extraction

Hi I am looking at a way to reduce the smoke output when cutting thin woods, not from the machine itself but from the extraction hose. Does anyone know of a filter system that I can put the extraction hose through just to reduce the smoke emissions.

Many Thanks

Re: Help with Cutting

Hi Dave I thought that was how you did it so, or at least that was one way. I have made progress now but the only way that I could get the cutting angle anyway straight was lowering the bed. I think that the focus point may of been set too high as now the cut seems neater and can be carried out at l...

Re: Help with Cutting

Hi Dave
I have lined up the mirrors to the laser head, but one daft question, how can I make sure it is coming out of the cone at 90 degrees.

Thanks again
Tony

Re: Help with Cutting

Hi Dave and thanks for the help. I have done a mirror alignment check (or whatever the technical name is) and have noticed that the check from the last mirror to the laser head seems to fire the beam to the lower half of the circle and not in the middle, I did wonder if this was part of the cause. I...
