Just had a reply to an email from East Coast. Unfortunately he wasn't sure about the resins, but did say this about the CF. I believe that there is also an issue with carbon being used as this material is a conductor and can break laser cutters, I have just found out this information quite recently ...

Lasering Resins
Does anyone know what ingredients are in Resins that make them nasty to laser? I want to make some Carbon Fibre Sheet for lasering and as I apply the resin I can choose something safe based on the ingredients. Even if it's just to stiffen and flatten the CF sheet and then apply some more heavy duty ...

Thanks Chaps. I have a copy of all the AutoCAD 2012 software on a three year licence ;) The joys of long distance learning for the job and being able to obtain an NUS card :mrgreen: I don't mind a lot of editing and output. I do it a lot on Illustrator. I'm hoping that the fascia is pretty symmetica...
