Personally I would choose beech

It looks nice and is hard wearing, you would find this wood all around the house as its got a good tensile strength, that makes it good for chopping boards wooden spoons etc. :lol:

I had a similar experience only with a new 6840 where we had it split in 3 pieces on its side and pushed around corners to install it. IT still give excellent results and it is a solid built piece of kit, but unlike you I've worn out 3 tubes. mind you its turned out thousands of engraved and cut ite...

I also have the same problem when I set a speed of 5 on my 6840, even when the tube is new.

I just use another speed, which I think is ok.

There in lies the problem.

The diameter needs to be entered into my program which then converts it to the correct pulse setting for you to enter into laserscripts worktable settings

I had a bubble problem that sounds the same.

I solved mine by lifting the machine about 2 degrees on the side where the water exits the tube, it might help

corel 12 works perfect
