Hi Dave, I haven't tried controlling the machine from the laser software as i'm unfamiliar with this however I will give it a go. There are no issues ( exclamation mark's etc ) within the device manager. I was going to try the direct usb option but was put off because Simon from HPC said this can so...

Hi Tom, no i'm not leaving spaces etc when save as. The stand alone manager shows no files although there are files still stored in the lasers memory!

Hi Dave, I tried uploading the image as a file attachment but i got the message saying 'reached the allocated attachment for this post' or something along those lines.

Hi Tom, yes I have also tried that. It seems like the pc is not actually communicating with the laser. When I use my laptop I can cut and engrave basic stuff but not photo's. When I use the desktop it will not send any files at all although it seems to process them?

Sorry mate, I didn't see the part of your post about sending you the file. Do you want me to add it as an attachment?

Hi Dave, thanks for your reply. I am no longer getting that message now i'm using the desktop. The laser software now loads the image when I import it but when I try to download to the laser, it goes through the process of 'creating data' etc but does not actually send the file to the laser? Cheers ...

Hi, I am new to the forum but I am also having problems etching photo's. I have an LS 6090 with a 60 watt tube and have been using my laptop with 4 gig Ram to link to the laser.
