power settings

Hi My machine is 3020 with lasercut software and LCD panel. I have found that most of my cutting on 3mm perspex and 3mm limewood i am using settings of 10 speed and 10 or 20 power and getting good results, Power seems very low setting for the results i get. Is this normal? Files are set in lasercut ...

The problem i was having in now fixed.

Saving as 2000 ascii dxf

Spend everyday using pro-engineer designing in 3d

Having now to remember the way i used autocad, its been 17 years since i last used a lasercutter and autocad!

3020 lsct arrived today Have done a few test cuts with lasercut 5.3 and all is ok I have now tried importing some files i have created in both Draftsite and Doublecad,but i am having problems.
