Re: Windows 7 issues
Hi Bernie, Unfortunately I can't help you with Windows 7 as I haven't upgraded as yet. I do run my Laserscript from a laptop running Vista though and I can't say I've had a single issue with it. On the software, I doubt you can import a powerpoint illustration into any software as cutting files. Cut...

Re: How good is the LS6090 Pro?
Hi Ali. I have the LS6090 Pro 60W and can tell you they are more than good value for money machine. They are easy to learn and easy to operate. I have had my machine for 8 or 9-months after upgrading from the LS4060 40W. The build quality is pretty good as are the quality of the main components of t...

Good to know you have a result with CS3.
Have you tried it with multiple layers in your artwork? That would be good if it Lasercut can handle these files.

Re: adobe illustrator - help please
It crashes the computer before the file is loaded. As soon as you select the file it crashes. I think the main problem is buggy laser software. I dont understand what you mean by pixilated? The file is a vector graphic. I have had a drawing work that must have had a 100 un-joined points. As I recal...

Re: lasercut software
The file type is always DXF, this is the suggested file type for the software. Charlotte As Charlotte says DXF is the suggested file type. However, I personally use illustrator .ai files all the time. I generate most of my artwork in CorelDraw V12 and 'save as' .ai for use in Lasercut. Your difficu...

Re: adobe illustrator - help please
Hi Chris, I generally use CorelDraw V12. However, I save all my work as .ai V7 files which import to LaserCut without issue. I have found that .dxf files a little unreliable in terms of the way Lasercut Interprets them. I don't know what version of Illustrator your client uses but can he try saving ...

Re: engraving photo's without photograv
Hi Paul, Nice write up especially for those that want to engrave a photograph but haven't got Photograv. I use a similar dithering method with PhotoImpact which is similar to Photopaint. If you want to save a step, once you have finished dithering the image with Stuki or Jarvis or whatever, Just Sav...
