plug in soft dog - not working

Hi everyone I have an old copy of laserscript 5.1 on disk and works fine on my old laptop, Ive tried to install it on my new laptop (windows 7)but it keeps coming up with plug in softdog and restart. I have tried running as admin, reinstalling etc, but nothing works any ideas? my machine 6040 2008 C...

Hi all I have a 2008 6040 and noticed some banding on an engraving and then the PSU started cicking when i ramped up the power, i have since noticed some arcing inside the unit near the negative wire and turned it off straight away. Same thing happened to mine, pretty sure it was down to an air bubble in the very end of the tube. It heats up the tube and the glue comes off. I glued it back on and it worked fine after perfectly well. I cant remember exactly what glue i used but it was two part adhesive that would withstand lots ...

i save mine as 1 bit btmap, If you dont get the correct format laserscript will except the photo but you wont be able to download it. Easyiest way by far is through photograv software or alike. But you still have to save/export as 1 bit bit bitmap.

Not sure what programs you are using, but i would recomend photograv as its loads easier and quicker than photoshop and better than results in caorel draw.

It was inported from corel draw as dxf file its a basic vector drawing but has been resized in laserscript didnt realise this would cause an issue though. Ill try to keep it the same size, i have been having some power issues and thinking it may be the air assist playing up, but could be the changes...
