Re: Laser wondering off mid-job

It maybe a memory issue - is there old jobs in the memory or is the file large? Does it do it on a small line of text sey in the middle of the table?

Re: Saying Hi.

Hi Gordon,
Welcome to the forum ;)

I used to do a lot of woodturning and bought a 3020 to cut veneer for clock faces, now don't have time to do any woodturning :-(

Re: Reliable source for replacement laser tubes

Even if there were anyone who can match the quality of service and price as HPC, they run and pay for this site so I think it's only fair not to post other suppliers ;) I have seen many tales of tubes being broken in transit leaving the customer to fight it out with the supplier. HPC only deliver in...

Re: HPC 3050 won't start engraving process

It may be a config file issue - did you get the HPC laser install disk?

If so if you select Download CNG from the download window, see if that helps.

Hi Kirsty,
Welcome to the forum.

Lasers are like toddlers - when they are good they are good but when they are bad...... ;)

Re: Engraving Autocad Annotation Text

The text in AutoCad is 'Hatched' - Using AutoCad you could 'explode' the text then try 'txtexp' in the command line area which should just leave the outline of the text.

Re: images not to scale

It is to do with the units used in Illustrator when exporting - they may not be set to mm. I don't use AI but see it all the time. I think there are a few answers if you google it ;)
